Summary

Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive。 And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits。 Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it。

The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit。 But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites。 The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other。

Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms。 And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts。

Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing-in each other's arms。

Sarah J。 Maas, you are a genius。 I thought I was team rhys, after this I’m definitely team cassian。 Beautiful book

The ending? Rushed。 The plot? All smut and character growth。 Honestly, this book just made me hate rhysand even more。 Guy is a fucking tool and even though feyre isn’t my favorite, she deserves so much better than him。 Cassian is literally one of my top book boyfriends。 That man is just the absolute most perfect specimen。

WowI think this was easily my favourite out of them all。 I know a lot of people don’t like nesta but I see a lot of myself in her。 She’s not perfect and gets lost in her ways a lot but always come back strong ❤️

“I am the rock against which the surf crashes。 Nothing can break me。”Nesta’s healing journey means a lot to me。 It was this particular storyline that got me so attached to her character。 It was the story of slow and gradual progress of healing and self-love that I appreciate and adore this book for。The writing style was good, it was consistent and engaging。 There were characters that I disliked at first but that was probably the point as this was Nesta’s POV。 And then there was little plot confl “I am the rock against which the surf crashes。 Nothing can break me。”Nesta’s healing journey means a lot to me。 It was this particular storyline that got me so attached to her character。 It was the story of slow and gradual progress of healing and self-love that I appreciate and adore this book for。The writing style was good, it was consistent and engaging。 There were characters that I disliked at first but that was probably the point as this was Nesta’s POV。 And then there was little plot conflict; it didn’t matter to me that much because I am mostly all for the character development in this book。Just one little thing to point out: whenever something pure and heartwarming happens, there is always an unnecessary(?) mention of hardcore smut。 It totally ruins the emotional moment, but I guess that is the Nessian brand lol。 。。。more

The Summary based on my own:- Broken Females- Mental Health issues- Sex。 A lot of Sex- The Love of the sisters- Love makes you do stupid thingsI expected more tbh。 The author wrote it down well about Nesta characteristics。 I even hate her in the first few pages but not to long until I knew that she is broken。 I even hate Rhysand and Feyre on this, and I dont think I adore Rhysand。 Yep, no more Rhysand。 They both acted like a lovesick puppies instead of being High Lord and High Lady。 Even they st The Summary based on my own:- Broken Females- Mental Health issues- Sex。 A lot of Sex- The Love of the sisters- Love makes you do stupid thingsI expected more tbh。 The author wrote it down well about Nesta characteristics。 I even hate her in the first few pages but not to long until I knew that she is broken。 I even hate Rhysand and Feyre on this, and I dont think I adore Rhysand。 Yep, no more Rhysand。 They both acted like a lovesick puppies instead of being High Lord and High Lady。 Even they stupid enough to make that idiotic bargain。 I miss the old them but yeah the stories goes。 So, be it。Brillyian and Koschei is only like a dust。 I don’t really get the point of them doing that or their stories。 I even knew it from the start about Eris, yeah it written well if you observe the clue。Besides that。 I like how the love growing from Nesta and Cassian。 Yeah because they are mates but I like it when they take it slow for their own sake。Overall, I respect the stories but there are LOTS of missing in here。 Why? why? it is that easily been done to bring back someone back from the death?!? I CANNOT WAIT the upcoming book because the spoilers said that one of the batboys will die (please make it happen and no more bring it back from the death)。 And last, dear Mrs。 Maas, if you did not make the next book about Azriel。 I will hunt you down。。。 。。。more

The best part of reading this series was reading with my book bestie and closest friend。 We did it!!!! I enjoyed the first two and then it kind of went downhill from there。 I rated it three stars for Cassian because… need I say more。 Overall the smut was good and the plot was confusing。 Would I read them again??? No, but I am grateful for the experience and there were some pretty good quotes。

THANKYOU SIENNA FOR BEING MY READING BUDDY & FINISHING THIS SERIES WITH ME :)))This book however, is just trashy smut。。。 The plot confused me & Nesta pissed me off a lot up until the end。 But I'll give it 2 stars for Cassian。 THANKYOU SIENNA FOR BEING MY READING BUDDY & FINISHING THIS SERIES WITH ME :)))This book however, is just trashy smut。。。 The plot confused me & Nesta pissed me off a lot up until the end。 But I'll give it 2 stars for Cassian。 。。。more

Still don’t like Nesta, but I admire the character growth。 Wish there would’ve been more of the other characters I love, but I’m happy that Cassian got to shine。

Okay, so my thoughts going into this was that I have never liked Nesta and a whole book from her point of view seemed so unnecessary。 I still think that, or rather, that it did not need to be this long。 I get that Sarah J。 Mass wanted to redeem Nesta, and this book did a very good job of that。 Nesta became somewhat likable almost after halfway through the book。 But I think her story would have been good as a sort of novella book between stories。 Her arc was good but not for a full length book。 S Okay, so my thoughts going into this was that I have never liked Nesta and a whole book from her point of view seemed so unnecessary。 I still think that, or rather, that it did not need to be this long。 I get that Sarah J。 Mass wanted to redeem Nesta, and this book did a very good job of that。 Nesta became somewhat likable almost after halfway through the book。 But I think her story would have been good as a sort of novella book between stories。 Her arc was good but not for a full length book。 She even loses a lot of her power, so。 Also, all characters where background characters and seemed like after thoughts and felt more so than they did from the earlier books and from Feyre's POV。This does confirm Cassian is a marshmallow and his and Nesta's love story did grow on me。 It was hard and sweet and fit them well。 And all the explicit sex scenes。 Whoo。LASTELY: The book cover is UGLY。 What happened there ? 。。。more

I don't read romances and haven't read much NA fantasy but this made even me blush, and I'm no prude。 But if that doesn't bother you, it's a really fun read。 。。。more

Idk…。 I’m just generally disappointed。 Overall thoughts:- I don’t mind a change in narrator/focus, but unfortunately, I never really liked Nesta’s character and I like Cassian as a side character, but I never found him interesting enough as a lead and major love interest。 - I feel like Maas doesn’t do great at keeping her characters consistent when they aren’t the focus。 Rhys and Feyre just felt so flat, stoic, and boring。 - Some scenes felt like they’d never end!!! Such as the part where they were learning mindful meditation, the dancing scene, listening to the music with the priestesses at their ceremony thing, the stairs scenes, training scenes, etc。 They were all overly descriptive for me。- The Blood Rite… it was basically a Karate Kid scene where every step was something they’d trained for, either intentionally or unintentionally。 Also, these men have been training for their entire life, and somehow these 3 women who have been training for less than a year are besting them all?! It was too much。 - The last like 15% just had so much happening and the conflict with the Queen was by far the least interesting and I don’t feel like Maas did a great job at making me care about that piece - Feyre giving birth and Nesta saving it with all the troves and giving up her power and yada yada yada。 All the magical and fantasy aspects were just thrown together and wow, the baby and Feyre were saved!- Cassian and Nesta’s constant rough sex got very old, very quickly。 - Elain is going to catch these hands with how she treats Lucien!!! Also, Maas is going to catch these hands for continuing to underutilize Lucien in these damn books。 I continue to find Elain unlikable and don’t see that changing。 - The secretive “what really happened with Mor and Eris?” bit is getting old and Maas needs to just tell us。 Also, confession…。 I am painfully neutral about Mor。 I don’t dislike her but I also don’t like her。 That’s a lot of complaints for a 3 star rating, and that’s because it’s realistically a 2。5 star rating。 Felt generous so I rounded up instead of down。 。。。more

Sarah Maas is my favorite author and I do simply devour her books。 I usually cry throughout a book but I just didn't until the end of this one。 Perhaps it was just because Nesta wasn't a favorite character for me。 Yes, she deserved a redemption story and I am glad she got one。What I did like in this book was the training exercises because I loved seeing how the ladies improved with physical and breathing (mental) exercises。 I took that to heart because I am trying to do that too。I loved seeing a Sarah Maas is my favorite author and I do simply devour her books。 I usually cry throughout a book but I just didn't until the end of this one。 Perhaps it was just because Nesta wasn't a favorite character for me。 Yes, she deserved a redemption story and I am glad she got one。What I did like in this book was the training exercises because I loved seeing how the ladies improved with physical and breathing (mental) exercises。 I took that to heart because I am trying to do that too。I loved seeing all of the ladies getting involved。 When they succeeded with cutting the ribbon, my heart soared。The last few chapters had me voraciously reading them。 It was really hard for me to put the book down。I know the ending set up the next book。 I would like it to be about Az and his shadows。 。。。more
